Today we’re so excited to shine a spotlight on a special jewelry collection we’ve sourced in partnership with Madewell. These handcrafted brass and bone pieces, made in Kenya and Haiti, will polish your look while making the world a better place.

Each piece of brass jewelry in the collection was handmade by Kenyan artisans in the TTM maker network. The makers used special techniques to upcycle raw brass that once made up water taps, padlocks, and other objects rescued from scrap yards.

The horn pieces in the collection were handcrafted by artisans in Haiti who are part of our maker network. Each piece of upcycled horn in the jewelry was collected by local farmers who would otherwise have no use for it. If you’re looking to help out Haitian creators after last month’s devastating 7.2-magnitude earthquake, stocking up on these pieces is one way to help directly support makers’ work. Dollars make a difference!

From statement rings to noteworthy necklaces to show-stopping earrings, each piece of the collection was made with care. Take a look below to shop your favorites.
